Cyclohexanoneis an organic compound, chemical formula C6H10O, is a saturated cycloketone whose carbonyl carbon atoms are contained within a six-membered ring. A clear colorless liquid with an earthy flavor and a minty taste when containing traces of phenol. Impure for light yellow, with storage time generated impurities and color, water white to gray yellow, with a strong pungent odor. With air mixing the blast pole is identical to the open chain saturated ketone.
