Vinyl Acetate (VAM)a colorless liquid with a pungent odor, is rarely used in its pure form. Vinyl acetate monomers (VAM) are essential building blocks for a large number of water-based polymers. Vinyl acetate is prepared from ethylene by reacting it with oxygen and acetic acid over a palladium catalyst. Vinyl acetate or vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) is primarily used as a monomer in the production of other chemicals used in various industrial and consumer product applications.

1.Vinyl acetate is the main raw material to produce Synthetic vinyl.Vinyl acetate through itself aggregate, or copolymer
with monomer to get polyvinyl alcohol, and acetic acid vinyl-vinyl total polymer (EVA), and acetic acid vinyl-chlorine vinyl
copolymer real (EVC), and acetic acid vinyl-propylene nitrile class fiber, and acetic acid vinyl-acrylic ester class copolymer real, they all have important industrial usage,can be widely used as bond agent,and building paint,and textiles sizing agent and finishing agent,and paper enhanced agent,and to produce security glass.Vinyl acetate andethanol, bromine reaction of acetaldehyde diethyl acetal bromides. This is the intermediate methyl imidazole drugs.
