  Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), abbreviated as PVC in English, is the third most produced synthetic polymer plastic in the world (after polyethylene and polypropylene), with an annual production of approximately 40 million tons. PVC is a polymer formed by the free radical polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) under the action of initiators such as peroxides and azo compounds or under the influence of light and heat. Both vinyl chloride homopolymers and copolymers are collectively referred to as vinyl chloride resins.
 

APPLICATION:
  PVC was once the most produced general-purpose plastic in the world and has a wide range of applications. PVC comes in two forms: rigid (sometimes abbreviated as RPVC) and flexible. Rigid polyvinyl chloride is used in building pipes and windows. It is also used to make plastic bottles, packaging, bank cards or membership cards. Adding plasticizers can make PVC softer and more elastic. It can be used in pipes, cable insulation, flooring, signs, phonograph records, inflatable products and rubber substitutes.
