   Polyformaldehyde (POM) is a kind of linear polymer without side chain, high density and high crystallization, belonging to thermoplastic engineering plastics. POM can be divided into homopolyformaldehyde and copolyformaldehyde according to the chemical structure of its molecular chain. The density, crystallinity and melting point of homopolyformaldehyde are high, but the thermal stability is poor. The density, crystallinity, melting point and strength of copolyformaldehyde are low, but the thermal stability is good, not easy to decompose .

APPLICATION:
  Polyoxymethylene (POM) is an engineering plastic with excellent performance and is known as "steel-grabber" or "super-steel" abroad. POM has hardness, strength and rigidity similar to metals, and it has good self-lubrication, fatigue resistance and elasticity within a wide range of temperatures and humidity. In addition, it has good chemical resistance. With a lower cost than many other engineering plastics, POM is replacing some markets traditionally occupied by metals, such as making many components with zinc, brass, aluminum and steel. Since its introduction, POM has been widely used in electronics and electrical appliances, machinery, instruments, daily light industry, automobiles, building materials, agriculture and other fields.
