Diethyltoluenediamine is a light yellow to reddish-brown transparent liquid with an ammonia-like odor at room temperature. It is slightly soluble in water and soluble in polar organic solvents such as alcohols, ethers, and ketones. It has good compatibility with polyethers and polyester polyols. When exposed to the air for a long time, its color will darken. Diethyltoluenediamine is flammable and has strong corrosiveness. Its main applications include curing agents, antioxidants, chain extenders; lubricants, polyurethane raw materials, amine catalysts, etc.
