At room temperature, it is a colorless volatile liquid with an odor similar to ether. Soluble in water, ethanol, ether, acetone, benzene and other most organic solvents, known as the "universal solvent". It is partially miscible with aqueous energy at room temperature. It has the characteristics of low toxicity, low boiling point and good fluidity.
