  Diethyltoluenediamine (English name Diethyltoluenediamine) refers to the mixture of two diethyltoluenediamine isomers, that is, the commercial mixture of two isomers: 3, 5-diethyltoluene-2, 4-diamine 76% and 3, 5-diethyltoluene-2, 4-diamine 24%, DETDA for short. It is light yellow to red brown transparent liquid with ammonia flavor at room temperature. It is slightly soluble in water, soluble in polar organic solvents such as alcohol, ether and ketone, and has good compatibility with polyether and polyester polyol. Diethyltoluenediamine (diethyltoluenediamine) is flammable and corrosive, can cause irritation and severe burns in skin and eye contact, and is harmful by mistake. Specific toxicity data are lack, and its toxicity can be referred to toluene diamine. The main uses are curing agent, antioxidant, chain extender; Lubricant, polyurethane raw material, amine catalyst, etc. The molecular formula is C11H18N2.
