Epoxidized Soybean Oil is used in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as the second plasticizer and stabilizer. With adding ESBO into PVC, it is able to save cost of main plasticizer and increase light and heat stability of PVC by absorbing HCl that it is released from
decomposed PVC. ESBO is made by soybean oil which is natural oil, so it is a nontoxic additive.
