Diethylene glycol Mainly used as gas dehydrating agent and aromatics extraction solvent, cellulose nitrate, resin, grease, printing ink solvent, textile softener, finishing agent, and extraction of coumarin and indene from coal tar. In addition, diethylene glycol is also used as brake oil compounding agent, celluloid softener, antifreeze and diluent in emulsion polymerization. Also used for rubber and resin plasticizer; Polyester resin; Fiber glass; Carbamate foam; Lubricating oil viscosity improver and other products production. Used as synthetic unsaturated polyester resin, used for cigarette hygroscopic agent, textile lubricant, paste and all kinds of glue anti-drying agent, reducing dye hygroscopic solvent, etc.
