Hydroxypropyl methacrylate(HPMA) is a clear, colorless liquid with a pungent, sweet odor. HPMA is used in the manufacture of acrylic polymers for adhesives, inks, and coatings for automotive, appliance and metal applications. The added hydroxyl groups improve adhesion to surfaces, incorporate cross-link sites, and impart corrosion, fogging, and abrasion resistance.
