1.Solvents for paints and inks, pharmaceutical extractants, spices; In industry, PTA is used as azeotrope for acetic acid recovery.
2.It has excellent solubility in a variety of synthetic resins and is an effective solvent for many synthetic resins, such as ethyl cellulose, nitrocellulose, styrene, methacrylate resin, etc.

It is commonly used in organic synthesis, as a solvent for coatings, printing inks, etc., and also as a dehydrating agent commonly used in industry; N-Propyl Acetate is a mild and fast drying agent, which is used in elastic printing ink and gravure printing ink, especially in olefin reduction and polyamide film printing.
4.It is also used as a solvent for nitrocellulose, chlorinated rubber and thermally reactive phenolic plastics.
