Application

The uses of isobutanol and n-butanol are similar. They are often used interchangeably. 
As a raw material for organic synthesis, it is also used as an advanced solvent, analytical reagent, chromatographic reagent and extractant.

1 the main use of isobutanol is the production of isobutyl acetate, this compound is mainly used in the production of paints and similar coatings, and also as a food seasoning.
2 isobutanol is also used in the industrial synthesis of isobutyl esters, such as diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) is used as a plasticizer for rubber, plastics, etc.
3 Other applications of isobutanol include as a solvent for paints, inks, etc., and as a cleaner for varnishes.
